Welcome to the Young Carers Project

The project offers services, support and information to young carers in Dundee aged 5-16 years. The Upbeet project works with young adult carers aged 16-30.

A young carer is somone who looks after, or helps to care for, a family member who has a disability, mental health issues, a blood borne virus or drugs or alcohol misuse.  They may provide hands-on caring or may be affected themselves by someone in their family who needs care.
