The Young Carers Project offers training to professionals who feel they would benefit from learning more about young carers, their needs and issues. The training is offered on a no-charge basis if the organisation is within the Dundee City boundary.
The Young Carers Project has previously given awareness-raising training for the following professionals -
- Community nursing and health visitors in NHS Tayside
- Social Work students
- Student nurses
- Youth Link volunteers
- Dundee City Council Neighbourhood Resources/Communities Department
- For numerous professionals through Shared Care Scotland
Full day or ½ day training is available. Please contact the YCP Office for further details.
